A note from Ryan:

On the 6th April 2016 our family sadly lost Jeff Maye after a short battle to Leukaemia at the age of 63. My father was a devoted and passionate pleasure and match angler all his life, even when he was very poorly with his illness with the support of his match team friends he was able to attend his very last winter league match despite being very poorly.

He was very devoted to always supporting others and was a generous man who would always give of his time without hesitation.

On the 2nd April 2017 in his memory we are organising an annual memorial match that will be held on one of his favourite waters Lakeside in Portsmouth as a fundraiser, We are looking for donations or raffle prizes which we can use to help raise funds. The money raised will be donated to Portsmouth & District Angling Societies Charitable Fund. The PDAS charitable fund was set up to provide a level of support to those in need, and to make spontaneous random gestures of kindness to those who would benefit in times of need which is voted on by the PDAS members committee.

I would be hugely grateful for any donation or prize you are able to make to help support our fundraising efforts. All donations will be properly thanked and acknowledged on the day and the PDAS website and social media channels.
