A 5 x 5 area/ square, two players on the outside of the area with balls each. Starting position for each player is in the corner of the squares diagonally opposite each other. On the coaches signal both players dribble around the square attempting to try catch the other player.
PURPOSE OF THE SESSION:
This basic activity will develop player's ability to move quickly with the ball while keeping the ball under control. it involves fine and gross motor movements as well as introducing an assessing and tactical element.

allow each player one opportunity to cut across one or more sides to try to
tag the other player
Smaller/lighter touches around corners and accelerate out with a slightly bigger/heavier touch
work clockwise and anti-clockwise
each player has two opportunities to turn that can be used at any time to catch their partner
